one hot mess

my mom got admitted to St. Luke's Medical Center because she caught Pneumonia. But her antibiotics are working and she is much stronger now. Thank you for all your prayers.

its been 4 entire days of sleepless nights! daaaaaaang.

Pretty Little Sisters

Vacation has been quite long and have been trying to make myself useful. Thank God for every blessings and everyone He has given in my life. I never knew I would ever find a passion in cosmetics and make up. Its my actual first time to try on the smokey eyes besides myself and it actually turned out pretty well.

My sister came home on the last minute to get her face-did. And there was no time for mistakes. She ended up looking hot.

Just got these new babies today.
Worth about 3.5k and am pretty happy cos the family will be looking pretty decent on this year's Christmas/ Lent Season.

Baby sister Joyce felt like going for a make over and was eager for me to try on my new skills.. winkwink on her. We were trying out what palette would be best suitable for her look since she had gorgeous eyes I figured the natural look would pull it out on its own. And then she demanded for big looking cat-eyes so we ended up with the smokeys. And then she wanted some shots and boom, guess who was the amazing photographer? Yours truly, of course!

Hot sisters much? Pfft.

Movie time with Joycey

Its Joyce's 2nd day in the Philippines and I had to take her out so she wouldn't be so bored at home.. There wasn't much to do anyways so we decided to watch them movies. We were initially going to watch Breaking Dawn Saga I but the time was quite inconvenient so we ended up watching Happy Feet 2. Fun movie I hafta say but it was an even funner day.

Right after the movies it was shopping time. Tried a couple of dresses and found this amaaazing purple zebra patterned top. It was gorgeous although it did show off way too much of my bazookers. I ended up buying a new nude nail polish with 2 extreme mascara's from The Face Shop and Avon.

My other sister, Tata ended up getting an early Christmas present from me and mark from Dorothy Perkins. It looks something like this
It was 70 bucks. DAAAAANG!

Ended up finding a really cute beanie from a little shoe store called "Call it Spring" and gosh I sooo wanted to purchase one but they didn't have any new stock. The one out for display was already worn out and dirty. Wasn't willing to pay full price for something that's worth less.

I drove home.
And that concludes our trip for the day.

Day to Day to Day

Today was absolutely a fun day. It started off weird cos I had to rush to the Post Office to figure out how to claim a parcel of sweets. Its my first time receiving goodies so I was pretty much a lost pup, I ended up asking a really nice manong whom was selling cigarettes close to where I was dropped off and he pointed right directly behind him. Lol, I felt sooo blind. After the hussle in the PO, I went straight to DLS-CSB to meet up with my friend Kat. We ended up going around the building trying to get our clearance sheet signature completed when we ran to Danelle! We had lunch at University Mall's Persian Grill and the Chicken Farsi Sandwich sucked balls. It wasn't worth my Php165. Just sayinnnn'

Mama's treat.

After having an ultimatum in Pampanga's best restaurant, Cabalen.. we decided to shop for a bit to yenno... ease the stress. Mama fell in love with this new tree up in Robinson's Place Ermita. I think they're planning on buying a new tree this year. Who knows? Picture was tooken right after buying 3 new shoes my mom bought for meeeee. Oh, just found out today that my mom's cancer cells dropped from 150 to 85! Miracles do happen. Again, I have no one else to thank but God and everyone who's been praying for her health <3 May God bless you with the same blessings as he's blessed us.

Graduation Day Part Dos

Graduation Day

Christmas is just around the corner. Every nooks of every street seem to have its own decorative lantern or lights to liven up the paths of Manila. A couple of days ago, my friend Angelica got confined in the hospital. My dad, Angela and I decided to come for a short visit to see how she was doing. It was in St. Luke's Medical Center in Quezon City so it wasn't the usual 15 minute drive to the hospital. The building was old and it had a classical feel to the main lobby.

GRADUATION DAY!!!

Yep! I've finally made it past college. I am unbelievably happy that I got to celebrate it with my parents. Although a bit sad that my two siblings weren't around to celebrate it with me. It was good nonetheless. I didn't trip or fall on stage. Thank you God for making all these things possible. Every single blessing that you've given me and my family.

When my mom got sick, I immediately though she wouldn't be strong enough to make it past my graduation. During construction period of my exhibit, I cried so much thinking I was going to loose my mom for it. But miracles do happen. And the impossible is possible. So God, THANK YOU! Gosh these words wouldn't even ever be enough to express the gratitude I really feel <3

So much has happened since I have last posted here. As much as I want to keep updating it regularly, time limits me. My excuses are lame I know. Thank you to everyone who's been constantly visiting for short updates.

So to start off, my dad and sister came over for a couple of days to allow my sister to take up her entrance exams in De La Salle University- Manila. The same university, my sister Tata goes to. I was able to spend some quality time with her before she took up the exams. She is much more taller than me now. Envy her slim figure to be honest with you c: Was also able to bring her to out school's exhibit and she was able to explore around and meet the people I have surrounded myself with for the past 2 years that I have been going to PSID.

Parents were able to feed us food we don't normally get to eat when its just me and my sister here. Haha. budgetting your allowance was one thing we learned when we moved to the Philippines a couple of years ago, yenno?

I have received so much blessings lately too.
And I only have one person to thank that for.
God.
He has been so good to me and my family. And so to that I am thankful.

Thankful that my mom's cancer cells has decreased since her last check up.
Thankful that he's made my exhibit happen in time.
Thankful that I had my family over to witness it with me.
Thankful that He has helped me change, for the good (I think!)
Thankful that throughout the tough times, He was always there.
Thankful that He's been giving me projects for my career.
Thankful for my friends who's been there throughout the rough patches.
But most of all, thankful for giving me the life that I have right now.
