Embarassing. Embarassing. Embarassing!!

Ok, so it HAS been quite awhile since I last blogged. That's because I wasn't around. So yeah. Anyways, just got back yesterday and I soooo miss my couz already. Esp. ate Aryan.. she's like getting prettier each year.

Anyways, today we went to the Rizal Healing Church and we left the house around 5am.. this is because there's always traffic here. Busy roads even at night. So yeah, the travel there was about 3 and a half hours and the van had to like climb up the mountain.

When we reached the location spot.. the air was breezy and cool. So we decided to go for mass. Luckily, we managed to catch up on it cos it was just about to start when we arrived. It was so crowded and hot inside so we just stood out. After the mass there was the Praise & Worship. And we kinda switched places and went inside.. here my parents gave us each a chair but my sis Kresta ran out of one so I asked her to sit in my lap. My mom offered to take her but I could stand seeing my lil mom under my sisters BIG BUTT!! So yeah. Anyways, my sis kept getting heavier every minute until..

KAPACK!!

One of the chair's leg broke. Well actually my parents knew that it had a crack on in already but forgot about the crack when they asked us to sit on it. So yeah! It was so frigging embarassing!! Ggrrrr!

And during Praise & Worship the pastor healed the sick. The blind could see again, the oldies on wheelchairs could walk again and those who were sick were healed. I AM NOT KIDDING OKAY?? It's for real. Ask my sis or my parents.

After that we climbed this mountain.. It had like 300 steps or something like that and I managed to get to the top with alil help form my couz and parents. And although my asthma triggered me once again.. I STILL DID IT. Somehow God told me that I could do it. Woo!

Anyways, the last bad thing that happened today was that I puked in the car on the way down the mountain. The road was so swifty and my dad told me to finish like one gallon of water. Both combination - BAD! So that explains the throwing up part.

So yeah. :)

That was my day.. as always.. Take Care!

PS: What do you think if a girl goes in The Mens room because she was really in a hurry that she couldn't find The Ladies and she really HAD TO GO??

Mall Of Asia

Went to The Mall Of Asia yesterday and it's like the biggest Mall I've ever been to ever. And I'm not kidding. The Mall Of Asia is like 20 times bigger than The Mall in Brunei. Again, I am not kidding. They say that The Mall Of Asia is the BIGGEST mall over here in Asia. And all I can say to that is WOW!!!

Although we weren't able to pass through all the shops (cos if it's big-ness) I especially enjoyed the first trip there. hehe.

Got myself:
  • three new pair of pants. Levi's I think. I'll check later. :)
  • 2 sticky Hoops & YoYo notepads. Woo!! H&Ys' are the best!! Give me anything w H&Y on it'll make my day.
  • swollen feet. But it was worth it anyways. ;)

So yeah, just thought I'd share my first time experience in the Mall with you guys. hehe!

Didn't get the exercise I wanted to.

Okay, so I wasn't able to do the studying that I had planned. But I promise, I'll do ALOT of studying tomorrow. Anyways, went to church instead. And the church here is just a short distance away so we all decided to walk. Both for relaxation and exercise. Anyways, we were having a nice breezy walk when my dad told me to get a tricycle so that I wouldn'y have difficulty in breathing. (My asthma triggers me quite often because Philippines is so polluted)

So I didn't get the exercise that I wanted. I've been gaining weight here. Eating alot because the food's SUPER tempting!! Arrgghh. We only get delicious food cos my family's here. (-.-) Special Treatment!

Anyways, the mass had started when we got there. And we just stood outside the church during mass because we've already arrived late. Plus, there was barely space inside so yeah. Arrghh!! Just annoyed that I didn't get my exercise. At times like these.. I miss the beach in Brunei. Plus the breezy wind and the fresh (err.. alil gassy air (?))

Goodnight readers!

Waking up. And start studying?

Was having one of those mother-to-daughter chats with my mom last night before going to sleep last night. And she was talking to me about studying hard and getting good grades. And I've come to realise that since my family got here.. I have been neglecting the reviewer(s) for my entrance exams. It's just that I've been so caught up and excited about them being here that I haven't been touching my books here. Hehe. They'll be staying here for one more week and I don't wanna waste any minute of it. Can you really blame me?

Was also chatting with my bestie in Canada, Xioba/ Siobe and somehow telling her that I haven't been reviewing made me feel alil guilty deep down. Arrgghh!! Anyways, instead of writing a long entry.. I should be touching my reviewers.. uuurrggghh! Okay, I'll go and start now.

;)

Random thoughts.

Nothings up right now. Everyone left for La Union (me dad's prov). So it's just me and my family here in our house. Feels weird having the house so normal and quiet considering this place has always been crowded and noisy. You can call it a house of bouncy walls.

Today's rest day for everyone. So yeah, the place's even more quieter! Sisters are watching tvo, parents are in the room - sleeping. (-.-) And I just got out of the shower. Water here's pure cold. They don't have heated water here so yeah, once you splash water all over you, you'd start to shiver. Bbbrrr!

Was blog hopping all day. Didn't think it would be this boring when everyone else was gone. I'm begining to miss them, when I come to think of it. Lately, I've been missing everyone. Anybody random actually. Depends if my mind wonders about them. hehe. Starting to NOT make sense again.. Arrgghhh!

Ohh, been updating this blog today. Got myself a new tag board because Michelle told me to get one. And did afew final touches.. hehe.. see the lil animated monkey and puppy? cute, huh? Wish I can put a smiley face to go along with this blog, but I dunno how. Don't even think it's possible.

Anyways,
I'm out!

Wildest day at the mall.

Went to watch Norbit starring Eddie Murphy in the Festival Mall here in Pacita, Manila with my cousins and sisters. And although we weren't able to catch up before the movie started.. we just bought the tickets anyways. After only half the movie was done, we decided to leave and ride the rollercoaster in X-Site, an arcade with everything. (yes, they do have rollercoasters in the malls here in the Philippines too)

haha. :D

Man!! What an experience that was. haha. At first I was like ohh, it's just a roller coaster in the mall.. so I guess it wouldn't be THAT scary. But it proved me wrong. Because when only one quarter of the ride was through.. my heart started to stop beating. And I am not exagerrating.. because you can ask my sis or cousin.. there's no gravity way up there. Gosh. You can call it a breath-taking ride. When we left out seats, we were all trembling. And the cute operator guy was freaking laughing at us.

:P

Next we went to the Car Racers which was where you race with everyone playing. Plus you get to operate your own car. And I was trying to over-take my sister, Joyce. While Kresta was trying to over-take my car. Haha. The rest was us playing video games.

We went window shopping after that and then ate at Kenny Rogers while my HS friend here in the Philippines, Kathy.. was text messaging me.

Busy, crazy day. And it was fun. Wish we could do it more often. Haha!

Rainy birthday!

Woke up with family greeting me HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And of course I'm happy. How can I not be when my family's here to spend the day with. :) They're still rebuilding the roof today so it's still pretty noisy with all the hammering going on.

The clouds are starting to get pretty dark though. A sign that maybe it's going to rain. (Doesn't usually rain in our area here in Manila) So yeah. Hopefully it doesn't though because if it does then - it's not gonna be good.

It would mean that the inner part of the house would be wet. Arrgghh!

Rebuilding house rooftop - so noisy!

Today, I woke up with a noisy sound disturbing my ever-so-deep sleep! That's because today, my dad has asked the carpenters to re-build the roof top around the kitchen area. So we all had to eat breakfast inside the bedroom.

I have a feeing that the whole house is about to collapse any minute now. And we would soon be deaf because of the endless loud hammering. Arrgghh!!

Tomorrow would be my 17th birthday and we would have a roof hanging on our heads by then cos the roof would be done til friday. Weird way of spending a birthday, huh?

But atleast my family's here! So maybe we'll just be eating out.

*sighs*

oh well.. that is my life.

Fish bones!

guess what the hell just happened.

Just came from the Family Care Hospital. Why? Because I swallowed a small but thick fish bone. Was eating fish for breakfast and I didn't notice the lil thicky freaking fish bone that was with the rice so yeah.

Tried everything (when I say everything.. I mean EVERYTHANG !!) haha. Tried eating big chunks of food without chewing it. But nothing worked. Even tried throwing up.. but no luck!

So I had like no choice but to go to the hospital and ask the doctor there to remove it. t'was weird. The doctor was pulling my tounge and it hurt. I already can imagine how freakingly weird I must've looked!

haha.

silly right?

Silly, non-sensy entry.

hey, Love u too Xioba!! This entry might not make any sense at all but hey.. you don't really have to make sense everytime, right?

Anyways, my sister, Kresta is like starting to act weird. I mean, she started taking pictures of random things like bread and all. Usually I am the one who does that kinda stuff and she used to call me crazy. Now I'm the one giving her the skeptical look.

:)

The youngest, Joyce has gone tall. Give it afew more years she's gonna be as tall as I am. What to do? haha.

My mom's still as childish and as down-to-earth as ever! And my dad, well he still has alil bit of the srtict-streak in him. But hey, I LABB THEM FOR THAT!

Not really doing anything at the moment. Was planning to watch either One Tree Hill Series or The OC Season 3 but turns out the player here in manila was a VCD Player.. not a DVD.

It sucks! But whatever!

haha.

Family's here!

hey all! just wanna letcha all know that I have received ALOT of blessings from God today. First of all, my family's reached The Philippines safely. Thank God for that. They were alil bit delayed but hey, they're here. Secondly, my kuya Mac-mac was granted his nurse capping so yeah, wohho! It means that he's allowed to continue with his course with a purpose that he will succeed in it,

Anyways, went for the late noon mass here with my aunt, dad, mom and uncle. The second the thanksgiving part started, tears started trickling down my cheeks - maybe outta happiness that my family's back? But the tears didn't last long. Nobody even noticed it!

:P

Now I know that I wouldn't be bored cos there's someone to disturb now that my family's here!

u guys take care!

Just Life.

future me. Once I start college!
Harbour Bridge in Sydney, Australia.
A glimpse of New York- and the cabs there.
Cute boy with a yummy popsicle!

yes, finally remembered to bring my USB. haha. Xioba, sira ka talaga. Alright, I will pray for your parents to be alil easy on you. Pero til then, you just gotta wait til they learn to trust you. haha. Even If I think they already do or they wouldn't have left you and kuya Mickey on your own.

Anyways, this is my blog entry for today,

Have you ever felt like you don't belong? ( a stolen line from The Cinderella Story ) It's like you try to fit in, yet somehow you just can't. It's like everythings alien. Like you're in a foreign land where no one knows who you are. Like you're invinsible!

Just got a call from my auntie Delia also known to me as Mumy Delia. And right now I'm really confused about which course I'll be taking for college. Confused to the point where you just wanna break down and cry. Endlessly. If that's possible. And this time, there will be no shoulder to cry on or nobody to share your problems with ( Xioba don't tell me to get a boyfriend ) or nobody to lean on. (ok im gonna stop before I start sounding desperate) Anyways, my aunt said that it's best for me to not take Fine Arts.. to take something else like Accounting or Nursing. Joke : I heard that people who take Accounting dies alone. :P Arrrgghh! Really frustrated!! I just wanna shout and scream and let everything outta my system. ( But I can't cos granny is sleeping just next door )

Just wished I'd wake up one day and God would give me a sign or something and that I'll just know what course was meant for me!!

If it was THAT easy.

Any advice?

Thanks for listening.. erm reading.

Anyways, the only thing to look forward to right now is my family going back here tomorrow! We leave for manila later at 6pm. Gotta prepare my butt for another 7 hour drive. Wish me luck!

till the next blog,
take care!

Happy News!

Two nights ago, I got a call from my dad. And heres how it goes (Convo is tranlated for those who can't understand tagalog):

: " Hello?."
: " Karen?."
: " Yeah, it's me. How are you guys back there?"
: " We're doing fine. Don't go back to Manila yet. Cos we're going there next week on Monday."
: *speechless- brain lag again!*
: "Karen are you there?!"
: *brain come back* (excited shriek) "Yes, I'm here!!!!"

haha.. the rest of the convo was my dad saying what time they're taking off to brunei and that we should be ready to pick them up in the airport.

Honestly, I haven't heard a couple of good news since January 2007 when my friend told me that I have passed the GCSE O'Levels Exam. haha.

Take care readers.

Lots of hugs.

My Life.. :P (corny title I know.. got any suggestions?)

Wow.. more comments. Ok Analisa, calm down.. just didn't see your name posted. I'm just human. And if I get into UPBaguio, then I might go back there this May.. so please pray for me.. I need strong prayers.. haha :P And Xioba.. palagi mo ako ino-overestimate. Haha, but thanks! You guys ROCK!!

Anyways, this new entry is not to complain about my hectic schedule (been doing that much too often, haven't I? complaining I mean) *shakes head* Guess I'm loosing my mind. That's what you get when you're living in a house full of old people with no kids around but a noisy bubbly cousin who practically shouts whenever she opens small but loud 2 year old mouth.

Am going to put headings in bold for those of you who are too lazy to read the whole entry and are just scrolling around to find something interesting.

Daily Routine : yes, I figured that I HAVE to start organizing my ife from now on so I made a routine.. here it is:
* wake up. average time's usually 10 am.
* have breakfast.
* pray the rosary.
* take a shower.
* pray some more.
* watch TV.
* have lunch.
* paint/ sketch.
* some more TV.
* dinner.

Yes, been doing alot of praying and sketches lately. So bored! But you know, I've discovered that praying are not only for you and your family but also for those who needs them the most. I remember when we used to pray I couldn't wait to get over it and for it to end. Now each day that I pray, I feel at ease. Gosh, if I heard myself say these things afew years ago, I'd think myself as a psycho. *halo over head*

haha.

What I've been doing for the last 24 hours :
* eating dinner.
* having a big bowl of Rocky Road Ice-cream. It's summer over here so weathers like frigging HOT!!
* sleeping.
* drinking Neosep, Paracetamol(pardon the spelling) caught a cold.
* watching Tree Hill(yes, I got my hands on the Season 1-3 copy--plus they cost like $10 if you convert) and Veronica Mars.
* don't really remember the rest. :P mind lagging again!

What I 've learned about my family :
On me mom's side:
* I have cousins who sleeps with thier eyes open. How cool is that?
* Discovered that I have a very cool aunt. My mom's cousin, Tita Mariel. (when I say cool, I mean she's the type who can make you laugh even if you were a hard-to-please type)

On me dad's side:
* I have a bubbly cousin. yes the same one I've mentioned somewhere at the beginning of this blog.
* Old people love mumbling to themselves. I love the about them. :P

What I've learned about Philippines :
Not a bad place to be in but just so you know, you gotta stay aware. Like 24/7 AWARENESS. I mean it's really a beautiful place to be, i mean a few days ago, I went to see the sun set and the view made my heart beat a pulse faster because there were like purple clouds surrounding it which made the sight more dramatic.. *stops cloud 9* but yeah, you have to watch out. Only thing is that the people here are just not worth trusting sometimes. Because they act (and they're really good at it) to make you fall. And once you hit rock bottom would you only realize that everything was part of their scheme. So just watch out.. if you ever go here. It's a cruel world. Saying this as a warning so dont take it the wrong way and think that I am discouraging you to go here.

:P

What I've been reading :
Alot considering I'm not really doing anything. Bought a couple of reviewers to prepare for future exams this april. Anyways, on one of these reviewers.. one article caught my eye. Just thought I should share it with you guys cos I think it's funny. Here goes:

A student comes to a young professor's office hours.
She glances down the hall, closes this door, kneels pleadingly.
"I would do anything to pass this exam."
She leans closer to him, flips back her hair, gazes meaningfully into his eyes.
" I mean..." she whispers, "... I would do... 'anything'!!!"
He returns her gaze, " Anything???"
" Yes... anything!!!"
His voice turns to a whisper. " Would you study?"

haha!

for those of you who don't find this funny.. well, you do not have a sense of humor. haha. Maybe it would take my tita Mariel to make you laugh?

anyways, I have to write back emais for those who emailed me.

So, take care readers!

Missing everyone back there. Badly!

Exams, busy schedule and more exams!!

First of all, before I begin I just want to thank the two ANONYMOUS people who've posted the FIRST ever comments that I've received in this blog. Im sorry I cant thank you personally because I dont even know who sent them. But thanks. Its good to know that someone still cares even when I'm not around.

Im going crazy over here. I've been pretty much homesick since my mom left. Been crying non-stop too. *shrug* I just cant help it..

Anyways, so far I've just taken one entrance exam which was in De La Salle St. Benilde and they had subjects like Analogy (which I completely dont know anything about !!) so yeah, plus the standards way back home and here are really different. And another is that the time limit was so short the non of us was able to complete the WHOLE ENTIRE EXAM!! Crazy right? Oh yeah, and we're not allowed to go to the rest room and have a watch on our wrist while the exam was on.

The rest of the exams are on April. So yeah.. arrgghh.. been practising my sketching skills in the pad that I brought from sydney, Australia. Would have posted them here but I havent downloaded them in the computer so yeah. Sorry.

Just to end this post, here's the so-far schedule that I have for April:

* April 11 - taking entrance exam in UP Baguio and this is the one thing I really WANT BADLY. So for those of you who are reading this blog entry back there pleeaasseee pray for me that I get in.

* April 11-13 - whichever day it is.. my aunt and I would be travelling from Baguio (once I finish the exam) to manila. And the ride there takes like about 9 WHOLE HOURS. oohh, bumm ache!!

* April 13 - Submiting application form in De La Salle Main.

* April 13-15 - Going back to La Union, which form the previous post takes about 7 hours drive.

* April 16 - Submission of application forms in St. Louis University Baguio. An okay school. But it's too old and it's polluted and over crowded with college students.

*April 17 - Going back to manila.. ARRGGHH!! Another 7 hour drive!!

* April 18 - Entrance exam in De La Salle Main.

* April 29 - Exam in St. Louis University...

so yeah, you cant really blame me if I complain too much. I'm going to have alot of bummy-aching days this coming april. Wish me luck.

Take care to everone back there. Missing you!
